Normality is restored

I have interwebs at home now again, after a good month or so without, plus being too busy at work to catch up on LJ - if there's anything important I've missed, comment until I pay attention.

Oh, and I've grown my beard back. By the time even my sister went 'ARGH! GROW IT BACK', it rather had to be done. And to be honest, I prefer myself with it too anyhow :)

Only news from me is that I'm leaving the country on 31st jan for about 7 months. Leaving/birthday party 6th jan in Oxford. Other than that see you in about a year. :p

Hi Sam, sorry to hijack a random LJ post.

Apparently you're in charge of Greebo now? If so I was wondering if I could have access to my website that's sitting on the server: http://greebo.darkwave.org.uk/~alexander/ ?

I was contented to just let it sit there for all eternity but I've been receiving some spam quoting "http://www.darkwave.org.uk/~alexander/cv/" as a source and, low and behold, it appears I've had my e-mail address sitting there for 5 years. Winnah.

Ideally some kind of access would be good. I vaguely recall Dishmop binding FTP access to IP addresses which meant access was awkward 5 years ago and impossible now. If not, just taking the whole thing down would be acceptable also.

Ok, wanna provide me with some kinda off-lj contact details and I can see what we can do about access to the site...

It's all a bit rusty, so it may come down to just wiping it, but I may be able to re-enable ftp access to it for you.
